Cebu is welcoming the vaginas again. Violence against women and girls has been such a problem and it deserves the attention it needs.

The Vagina Monologues is considered a masterpiece that intends to raise money and to heighten the awareness for local organizations to completely stop violence against women and girls.

Vaginas have voiced out their struggles of being the person that they are through this award-winning play. The Vagina Monologues back in 2001 has reached and touched thousands of vaginas throughout the world and successfully achieved their purpose. This humorous, yet realistic play is produced by Sarah Mae Enclona-Henderson. The script remains almost the same, but expect a few fresh additions to this global phenomenon.

Females aren’t the only ones welcomed to this outspoken event, men are encouraged to watch this play as well to gain knowledge of a woman's struggle, and to also help out the opposite sex.

This year’s production will be for the benefit of Bidlisiw Foundation, Inc., a local non-government organization focused on helping the urban poor families and supporting women’s causes.

Help raise awareness for violence against women and girls by seeing The Vagina Monologues on May 23 and May 30, 2015 at 8:00PM, at the Space 150 of the Henry Hotel, located at Paseo Saturnino, Ma. Luisa Road.
