The Cebu Safari and Adventure Park will host the CEBU SAFARI RUN on September 15, 2019 in Carmen, Northern Cebu.
The Cebu Safari Run will be held inside and around the park and will have four distances in two different runs. The fun run will offer 3-kilometer and 5-kilometer distances and the trail run will have 12k and 21k distances.
Cebu Safari and Adventure Camp in partnership with Cornerstone Group are expecting over 1,000 participants for the fun run. The Park’s vice president and chief operating officer Eduard Jarque Loop has assured that the event will pose no harm to the animals in the park.
Registration fees are at P800 for the 3k, P1,000 for the 5k, P1,300 for the 12k and P1,800 for the 21k.
Family bundles are also offered to families joining the 3k and 5k run. For the 3k run, pay only Php1,600 for one adult and two kids and only Php1,200 for one adult and one kid. For the 5k run, pay only Php 2,000 for one adult and two kids and only Php 1,500 for one adult and one kid.
For the kids in the bundle packages, kids must be aged 12 years old and below. Companion fees are also offered at Php 600 per head for the bundle packages.
Included in the registration fees for all participants are whole day passes to the park, a finishers medal and a packed meal.
The Park's regular entrance fee is at Php800. Registration can be done online on park’s website, M.Lhuillier Office in Talamban and New Balance Store in Ayala Center Cebu.
Cash prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers in the 12k and 21k and fun prizes for the 3k and 5k. For the 21k, top 3 will get Php 10,000, Php 7,000 and Php 3,000, respectively, while the 12k top finishers will get gift certificates amounting to P2,000, P1,000 and P500, respectively. Special awards for the youngest and oldest runners, best in animal costume and raffle draws will also be given.
Deadline of registration will be on August 31 while race kit distribution will be on September 12, 13 and 14.
