One of Chad the Stud’s favorite pastime is football, or as the Americans calls it soccer.

Starting young at the ripe age of eleven, he is now an avid player who spends a lot of his time playing for the Don Bosco alumni team.

Chad enjoys organizing soccer events such as the Sunstar event and the Thirsty Cup, Chad spends his time doing what he’s passionate about. With his alumni league coming up next month and the Thirsty Cup in February you can see that this sport keeps him busy.

His family also shares his passion for the sport. Although his eldest daughter doesn’t play, she is a huge Real Madrid fan. Being in Fair Fox two years ago, and knowing that Real Madrid would be training at UCLA she jumped on a bus for the long trip alone just to see Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and the rest of the team play.

As for the rest of Chad’s family, his youngest son plays the sport and even competes against Chad at times. His younger daughter started playing around the same age as him, but went on to earning a full athletic scholarship. So football is a family affair they can all relate to. When asked why football was his favorite choice of all sports he explained how scoring a goal gives you the most amazing feeling of accomplishing something. In sports like basketball it is very fast paced, but with soccer scoring takes time, the build up and the payoff gives you the most euphoric feeling.

So if you’re ever feeling the soccer bug, and want to play a friendly game, spectate or even want to find Chad out on the pitch, be on the look out for any upcoming soccer events in town that he may be organizing.
