There are a lot of good cameras out there but does that automatically mean a good picture?

Last Thursday, Y101FM and Canon judged the entries for #showmeyoursinulog and selected finalists. There were indeed a lot of entries, many were beautiful but there should only be a top 3. What were the things that affected the judge’s decision to choose one photo over the other?

Although many pictures showed off the camera’s ability, some went to a higher level-even without the need for using a very good camera. Francis Cabahug, one of the judges who happened to be Y101FM’s graphic artists shared that the finalists captured things that are taken for granted- the emotions, the expressions and the timing of the shots. Most of those shots would be difficult to take again or may never be taken again.

Photography is not a one-time thing. You have to acquire that skill and get that sweet spot. It is never too late to learn about it!
