Last Thursday, January 29 2015, Canon and Y101FM selected the ones who deserved to win.
The judges were Mike Olitres( Y101FM station manager), Tonee Despejo (Chief Photographer of Cebu Daily), Karen Cabonce (branch manager) and Francis Cabahug (Y101fm.com graphic artist). They were first oriented about the criteria and specifications for them to consider while judging. The pictures were shown to them one by one through projection and they made their decisions.
It was a difficult process since a lot of pictures were great. There were a lot of methods done just to select a top 3 and it included lots of elimination rounds. To those who made it as finalists, congratulations!
