P5 Million, house and lot and more for Hidilyn Diaz
The 25-year-old Hidilyn Diaz who won the silver medal in women’s weightlifting in Rio Olympics and who came from humble beginnings is bound to receive more than what she has ever dreamed of. Diaz will get P5 million from the government as part of the amended Incentives Law, Republic Act 10699, including a house and lot from 8990 Deca Homes and will be showered with gifts, endorsements and more.
According to the Philippine Sports Commission, she deserves to be showered with incentives for making the country proud.
Diaz said, when the money comes, she’d buy a lot near their home in Zamboanga and build a weightlifting center for children.
