John M took a quick dive into renowned practitioner.

In a brief phone interview with Alex Santos of Phil Tech Divers, John M and everyone else who heard the phone interview on air had a quick insight on how it is to be a diving professional. A proud member of the Batangas Dive Pros - Pro-Ocean and the Filipino Cave Divers, Santos expressed that exploring underwater caves is his greatest passion and emphasizes that the Enchanted River is a go-to place for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Santos also invited everyone to attend the Oxygen In-Water Recompression (OIWR) Seminar which happened at 6PM yesterday at the Mabuhay Room of the Department of Tourism Building at Puyat Avenue in Makati. The event was said to tackle on a dynamic discussion on the viability and the controversies enveloping this alternative practice. Discussions will also highlight safety and reversing early manifestations of decompression sickness. With seminars like this hosted by the Philippine Commission on Sports SCUBA Diving – PCSSD, this makes practitioners in the industry go on the right track.

Santos is also a certified DMT and has practiced oxygen in-water recompression for many years so people in attendance definitely had a lot to learn and discuss about. The RSVP-only event was brought to you by the PCSSD. To learn more about PCSSD, top diving destinations in the Philippines as well as upcoming events and projects, visit www.divephilippines.com.ph.
